By accessing this website, joining as a Steward or Member, purchasing access, or participating in the community, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

 

Nature of The Open Field

The Open Field is a community-based platform designed to support economies of meaning—a space where individuals and businesses (“Stewards”) share offerings, events, and contributions, and community members (“Members”) engage through participation and conversation.

 

The Open Field is not a traditional social media platform. It is a curated environment designed to foster meaningful exchange.

 

We do not guarantee:

  • Business outcomes (sales, leads, or growth)

  • Attendance at events or engagement with posts

  • Compatibility or performance of third-party tools or integrations

 

Roles & Participation

Stewards (Paid Creators)

Stewards are approved participants who may:

  • Post offerings, events, and content

  • Engage with Members through comments and responses

  • Represent their work, services, or initiatives

 

Stewards agree to:

  • Share accurate, lawful, and respectful content

  • Engage in good faith with the community

  • Uphold the spirit of meaningful, non-extractive exchange

 

Members (Community Participants)

 

Members may:

  • Browse content

  • Attend events

  • Comment and engage respectfully

 

Members may not create posts unless explicitly granted Steward access.

 

Community Conduct

All participants agree to:

  • Engage respectfully and without harassment

  • Avoid spam, solicitation overload, or manipulative tactics

  • Honor the intention of the platform as a space for meaningful exchange

 

We reserve the right to remove content or revoke access if behavior is:

  • Disruptive

  • Misleading

  • Harmful to the community environment

 

Fees & Payments

Steward Access

Stewards may be required to pay an annual or recurring fee to participate on the platform.

  • Fees are defined at time of purchase

  • Payments are non-refundable once access is granted

  • Continued access may depend on maintaining an active subscription

 

Events & Offerings

​

Stewards are independently responsible for:

  • Pricing

  • Delivery

  • Fulfillment of their offerings

 

The Open Field is not responsible for transactions between Stewards and Members beyond providing the platform.

 

Platform Limitations

The Open Field may rely on third-party platforms (e.g., Wix, payment processors, event tools).

 

We are not responsible for:

  • Platform outages or technical issues

  • Changes in third-party functionality or pricing

  • Data handling practices of third-party providers

 

Intellectual Property

  • Stewards retain ownership of their content and offerings

  • By posting, Stewards grant The Open Field a non-exclusive right to display content within the platform

  • We may feature content for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed

 

The Open Field brand, structure, and concept remain the intellectual property of its owner.

 

Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms

  • Remove content that does not align with the platform’s purpose

 

Users may discontinue use at any time.
 

Fees already paid are non-refundable.

  • Experiences or transactions between Members and Stewards
